Niki joined ASU in 2017 and the Polytechnic advising team in March 2020. Niki grew up in Eagar, AZ and then completed High School in Thatcher, AZ. She received her AA degree from Eastern Arizona College and her BA in Elementary Education from ASU. She taught 1st, 3rd, and 6th grades in the Kyrene and Mesa school districts. Niki was a stay at home mom for many years raising her 8 children; 3 biological and 5 adopted from around the world. Niki and her family were fortunate enough to live in Verona, Italy from 2005 – 2007. In 2007 Niki began working with high risk youth as a Youth Health Educator for the Graham County Health Dept. Niki’s passion for higher education brought her to ASU in 2017 when she accepted a role with ASU/EdPlus as a Student Success Coach. She enjoys collaborating with students to better guide their decision making and development of their educational plans. Niki is excited to now work with Graphic Information Technology students at the Polytechnic campus. Niki loves to spend time with her husband and large family, travel, run, hike, and going out with friends.
