All graduate students must select a graduate faculty advisor consisting of one (1) chair and at least one (1) faculty subject matter expert (SME).
Selecting Your Faculty Advisor
For portfolio and all applied projects, any of the faculty members below can serve as the graduate faculty advisor chair.
For all thesis, Dr. Laurie Ralston can serve as the graduate faculty advisor chair.
The other faculty advisors/SME faculty should be selected based on how his/her area of expertise matches up with interests of the graduate student’s project topic. The graduate student must contact the desired faculty advisors to check availability for serving on the faculty advisor prior to listing the faculty on the iPOS.
The faculty advisor will help the graduate student select the appropriate courses to prepare for the Applied Project or Thesis. It is the responsibility of the graduate student to stay in contact with the faculty advisor.
