The Polytechnic School’s research program focuses on transforming basic discoveries into practical, real-world use and enterprise. Our campus alone is home to more than 30 laboratories.

From energy and the environment to intelligent machines, we are exploring innovative technologies and concepts that benefit society in tangible ways.

Last year, the Polytechnic School had 183 externally funded projects in areas such as robotics, manufacturing, engineering education, environment, energy, systems engineering and human systems engineering.
