Rich Barlow

Senior Director for Aftermarket & Materials Engineering, Aerospace, for Honeywell

Rich Barlow has been with Honeywell for more than 33 years and most recently led the aftermarket and materials engineering teams. Prior to this role, he was the VP HOS for the aerospace team. Barlow has held a number of leadership positions in Phoenix including, vice president for advanced manufacturing engineering, director of global repair & overhaul engineering, director of aviation aftermarket services, director of operations programs, director of regional airline customer support, director of gear production center and director of industrial and manufacturing engineering.

Prior to moving to Phoenix, Barlow was with Textron Lycoming where he led the operations integration team during its integration with Allied Signal. While in Stratford for nearly eight years, Barlow held positions of increasing responsibility including: manager of process engineering/tool design/NC programming, manufacturing manager of subassemblies and special process, manager of subcontract marketing/new programs and manager of right-sizing. Prior to this, Barlow worked for seven years for General Electric Aircraft Engines in Evendale, OH and Madisonville, KY in various manufacturing and operations support roles. He is a graduate of GE’s manufacturing management program.

Barlow earned an MBA from the University of New Haven. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame. He is a graduate of the Global Leadership Certificate program from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and is a certified GB and Six Sigma Black Belt.

Barlow is married with four children and resides in Ahwatukee, Arizona. His hobbies include snow skiing, golf, reading, music and spending time with his family.
