Our primary objective is to provide meaningful training experiences through a flexible training schedule provided at reasonable cost. There are very few limits on days training can be conducted. On any given day we can, and have, done a class from one to sixteen individuals, but would prefer to accommodate a minimum of 8 individuals. Fees are based on the number of participants enrolled.
Years of training data show that the representative participant has found class sizes below 8 inordinately expensive. Most flight schools, corporate, and government organizations do not have a problem enrolling this number of people. These larger groups can be scheduled at their convenience.
We recognize that the variable aspect of pricing may seem a little confusing, that it is the only way we can minimize the cost for individuals, small, and large groups while covering the basic costs of conducting the training. Unlike some facilities offering aviation physiological training and chamber flights in the United States, our programs are not subsidized by any federal or state entity. Discounts are available for those interested in multiple training dates over short or long-term arrangements.
Requirements to participate in altitude chamber training are:
- 18 years old or older
- A current Class I, II, or III FAA Medical Certificate, or a physicians note as to condition of good health and release by physician
- Must be able to speak, read, write & understand English per FAA rules and regulations
