This course will examine the most important consequences of climate change in the Western United States including increased heat, drought, and fires; more extreme events; and impacts on agriculture and urban areas.  A particular focus will be placed on heat stress on humans and habitat, and mitigation strategies that workers can employ in a variety of occupations.  The 3-hour class will be available live via Zoom and will have ample opportunity for interactions and contributions from participants.
